DJ. Curator. VISUAL ARTIST.
Rare Treat is a London-based artist carrying Gambian and Sierra Leonean roots. Her work moves across the full spectrum of Global African sound — from dancefloor to deep listening — rooted in diaspora, consciousness and liberation. She creates worlds both sonic and visual: cosmic, griot-spirited, afrofuturist. Whether moving bodies or stilling minds, everything she makes holds the same invitation: feel the freedom that already belongs to you.
Born and raised in East London, she began her journey at Mixcloud, where she developed an eye for creative direction alongside her ear for sound. Since then she has performed at Boiler Room, We Out Here Festival, the Southbank Centre, Soho House and beyond — and has worked with brands including Puma, Levi's, Spotify and Daily Paper.
Her visual practice extends the music into image, motion and space — cosmic in feeling, conscious in intent. Her deep listening sets, including her residency in the Grounded series, bring stillness and story to audiences beyond the dancefloor.
